Whether you realize it or not, there are some simple household and personal items we cannot transport or can only be transported under certain conditions.
While the Bill of Lading (your contract) clearly sets out the ‘Conditions of Carriage”, today for your additional protection Federal, Provincial and Territorial governments have enacted legislation under the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act outlining how and what household items can or cannot be transported.
Planned Directions will not transport the following dangerous items. (As a matter of fact, no reputable mover – whether they are Toronto movers, Mississauga movers or Oakville movers should.) They include:
firearms
fire extinguishers
drugs
aerosol sprays
bleach
explosives
flammable goods of all kinds
matches
pesticides containing arsenic
This is a partial list only, be sure to ask your mover for a full list of dangerous items that cannot be transported.
As your five star Toronto movers, Planned Directions is committed to your personal safety and the safety of your belongings.
