What type of information does Planned Directions collect?
Planned Directions gathers customer information needed to help us provide better customer service and communicate offers on services which we believe will be of interest to you, and to manage our business. In order to best serve you, we may gather information in the following instances:
Automatic information: When you visit our site, we receive and store non-personally identifiable information from you. For example, like many web sites, we use “cookies” that collect certain data such as your IP address, browser type, domain name and specific Planned Directions web pages through which you click. Does Planned Directions use cookies?
Planned Directions does not trade, rent or sell your personal information to others. We share customer information only with members of the Planned Directions family of businesses to provide you with products or services that you have requested or to provide you with promotional offers that we believe will be of interest to you. The Planned Directions family of businesses includes all Planned Directions affiliates as well as other selected businesses with which Planned Directions has a relationship and which perform functions on our behalf. Examples include sending postal mail and e-mail, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, processing credit card payments, and providing customer service. They have access to this data only to perform their operational or other support functions, but may not use it for other purposes. We will not share your information with other Mississauga movers, Toronto movers or Oakville movers.
How can I access my personal information?
You can access your personal information at anytime to update, correct, add or delete any of the data you have shared with us.
Can I “opt out” of receiving e-mails from Planned Directions?
Planned Directions may send you e-mails only if you opt-in to receive such e-mails. If you select to receive email notifications and later chose not you simply opt-out. You will be given the opportunity to opt-out in every email notification.
What about changes to this Privacy Policy?
Your use of Planned Directions constitutes your consent to the collection and use of the information described in this Privacy Policy by Planned Directions. Regardless of later updates or changes to our privacy notice, we will never use the information you submit under our current privacy notice in a new way without first providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prevent that use.
